A big part of Being Harriet has been seeking many forms of self care to help me navigate my life, my hyper-sensitivity and manage and heal from mental and physical injuries I had from a young age.
Self care can take SO many forms, but I think of it as consciously taking time and space to manage and tend to my own energetic field.
The dictionary definition of self care is:
“The practice of taking action to preserve or improve one’s own health, both physical and mental.”
